Congratulations to the recent graduates of the Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP) at bbin信誉网站!

The Illinois Department of Transportation created the 450-hour program to prepare people to work in construction and to increase the number of minorities, women and disadvantaged persons working on IDOT projects. There is no cost to participants who are selected for the program. 学生 receive a stipend of $10 per hour.
The bbin信誉网站 program has the second-highest placement rate of the 14 HCCTP programs in Illinois. Of the last 30 BHC graduates, 80 percent have become apprentices. Graves joined the Ironworkers Local #111 after completing her 10th week of training.
